Get a Second Limited Passport with the Help of Texas Tower

A second limited passport is a secondary U.S. passport valid for 4 years concurrently with your current passport. This type of passport cannot be renewed. Approval of this passport’s issuance is determined solely by the U.S. Passport Agency based on the applicant’s eligibility for this passport.
If you’re looking for a second limited passport, you must meet one of the following qualifications:
- You need a visa stamp in your passport and need to travel internationally at the same time
- Your destination is between politically sensitive countries
All documents must be signed and mailed to Texas Tower for processing. Unfortunately, you may not scan and email these documents because the Department of State requires original signatures.
